BobCAD association

Scott

Is there a way to break all associations between BobCAD and NC Plot?

I use BobCAD for lathe programming by drawing the exact path in ACAD, import it into Bob as DXF, create the program by cut-chain and manual edit and then cut/paste the whole thing into a text editor and save only the finished poroduct.
I'd like to start using NCPlot as the text editor, but whenever I cut/paste from BobCAD all I get is the NC icon but no text.
Sure I can first paste into the editor and then re-cut from there but would be nice to bypass that if possible.

Thanks.

If you can copy and paste into another text editor, then you should be able to paste into NCPlot. Are you copying the program text from the BobCAD NC window?

Yes

I simply highlight the text, Ctrl-V and then paste into NCPlot.
All I get is the funky NC icon from BobCAD, absolutely no text.

I don't know why this doesn't work. I'll have a look at it though.

Thanks,

Scott

Just in case, I'm using V18 and won't be upgrading BobCAD.
It's only used for 2 axis EDM and lathe, but for that always.
If you can't get it figured out, no biggie. I can live with the double paste.
