Shift / Scaling questions...

Postby BillCAD » Sun Jun 13, 2010 7:21 pm

Can the shift and scaling be applied to each axis independently? For example, I want to scale the Z but leave X and Y alone. Can I also shift Z only, to adjust tool depth without having to re-post? Also, is there a file compare feature?
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

To apply shift / scale to just one axis, use the address adjustment tool "Tools / Address Adjustments". This tool allows you to apply math functions to addresses independantly, such as add, subtract, multiply and divide.

There's no file compare tool yet, but this is coming.

Thanks,
Scott
