Can I do?

Postby PMinMO » Sat Nov 25, 2006 1:04 pm

I want remove non value added portions, these have been full segments between rapids. These are 2d parts with Z just being cutting or raised. What I have been doing is clicking on a vector in the viewport to highlight the g-code, then reviewing the previous and following lines looking for the Z movement to cut or up. Then selecting all of the segments inbetween and deleting. Is this the easiest way?

I now want to alter cutting paths, i.e. remove a couple of vectors. Can I just delete them?

Is there a way to select a number of g-code lines and have the segments highlighted in the viewport?

PMinMO,

I think what you are doing now is the easiest way.

You can highlight part of the program and have the corresponding viewport graphics highlight. Just select blocks in the program and then on the "Edit" menu is a selection called "Highlight Selected".
