Postby GCNC » Mon Jan 01, 2007 8:47 am

Hi,

Is it possible to find cycle time for the program?

How to find out time taken to machine component?

Thanks.

This is a handy feature but it only recognizes the feed rates as IPM which isn't used for most lathe programming. Is there a setting I am missing in Machine Configuration?

NCPlot may not be recognizing the G-Code you are using for commanding IPR feedrates. The latest help file has a list of the G-Codes that are recognized by NCPlot, take a look and see if this matches your program. If not, let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

EDIT: Here's a better idea. You can add a G-Code to the "Initial State" setting to make the IPR feedrate active by default. Open the Machine Configuration and click the "Control Options 1" tab. In the "Initial State" setting add "G99" if you're using Format A or "G95" if you're using Format B. The Format A/B setting is found on the "G/M codes" tab.

Thanks,
Scott
