Hi,

I would first check to see if your cable is working. Try sending from the control back to the PC and see if you get anything. Go to the menu DNC and click "Receive", then send a program out of the control. If you don't receive anything, then check the cable.

What control is this you are trying to send to? Does the control require any special characters or commands? Can you remove the switch and connect your PC directly to the machine?

Like i sad receiving no problem. Most of our machines are on ScanDisk. Thanks

NCPlot will send the file exactly as you see it, your control may be looking for a header sequence to initiate the transmission. I'll have to check on this.

I got it. We used to send a prog. and then go to the machine to receive it, but now i have to get the machine to start to receive and then go and send. With our old dnc soft the file coud sit for a day in a line until machine has respondet. Ncplot better option to work with the file. Are there any way we coud set (Ncplot) up so wait until machine starts to receive the file?

Yes, I've got this feature on my list. Glad you figured it out!

Thanks,
